We would like to thank Justin Yeager of Planted Glass Boxes for sharing his Featherock project with us!
Justin used silver-grey sawed-back veneer to achieve this incredible 8′ long terrarium project! The texture of Featherock makes it great for propagating moss in a terrarium. The first image shows the Featherock installed, and the second photo shows the terrarium 6 months later with the moss and plants in place! Wow!
How did you get it to stay to the sides of the fish tank?
Hi Shaughn,
The designer of this tank used a standard home application silicone on the backs of the rocks. You want to apply the silicone to the backs of the veneer pieces and push them into the side of the tank so they do not slide down. He said using the smaller, lighter weight pieces make this a lot easier.
Thank you!
