Featherock - The treasure from the High sierra is a family of unique stones. The products of these stones are a combined gift of nature and the ingenuity of man. They come from an equally unique and beautiful mountain country. As mining people we of Featherock, Inc. are dedicated to your needs while preserving the scenic wonder of the American wilderness.
From a modest beginning in 1941 our company has become a quarrier and marketer of stone products throughout the world. Our mine and mill are located overlooking Mono Lake in California, not far from the resorts of June Lake and the skin runs of Mammoth Mountain. Many of our employees live in nearby Lee Vining close to the mill. Company administrative offices are located in Los Angeles, California.
